31 August, South Africa’s first acrobat Prince H Malatsi is coming back to showcase his invention and to create tours and exhibitions in different provinces to showcase my fashion creation, Art creation, talents and above all, the new invention I have created during the confinement within 3 months, which is a Mobile Musical Monument called Izintambo zomoya.
This instrument is promoting social distancing based on the COVID-19 pandemic cause it can be played by 30 people standing at more than 1m from each other. It is also to motivate people to create a positive space out of bad moments, use time wisely, exhibit the power of the African civilization and pass on our values to the next generations. Izintambo zomoya is one of its kinds and does not exist anywhere. It is made of recycled material in order to protect the environment and is composed of 40 different independent and individual instruments connected as one and can stretch up to 20 meters with different sounds effects and compartments. Some of them can even play house, movie, and theatre, indigenous, spiritual and DJ sounds effects.
“I would like to raise funds to create a platform for the underprivileged youth in the townships and rural areas so I can help them to travel out of SA for cultural, career, talent and technical exchanges because I have already created a big network and platforms for South African youth continentally and abroad. It is now to implement as soon as I get back. That will help to eradicate poverty in South Africa. I have ever been an Ambassador of my country and I always kept its flag high”, said Prince Malatsi.
